Weaknesses: Stormborn are looked down on by the other races of Acaes, stereotyped as being conniving, dishonest and cunning. Of course, they are usually right.
Combat:
Strengths: : A master swordsman, especially with his Marine's sword. He is also a great Honor Duelist, having killed many opponents with his Honorknife. He can also fire balistae and fight on the deck of a storm tossed ship.
Weaknesses: He isn't good at using personal long range weapons, and cannot ride a horse and fight at the same time.
Intelligence:
Strengths: He is a master of sea navigation, and can sail better than many men his junior. He was classically educated befitting his station, and also received informal education as a Privateer. He is a great merchant, and good at mathematics and naval tactics.
Weaknesses: He has a hard time working the same way on land as he does on sea. His education lacks depth, though it is rather broad.
History: Born under the name Vincenzo Schymaris, he never expected to become Highlord of the Diamond Coast. He had an older brother who was expected to fulfill that duty, and so he left land as soon as he graduated from the academy in Fellsmarch. He took to the sea with a small crew and a single, narrow vessel, trying to work as a merchant and seek adventure. It didn't take them long to discover that the ship would operate better as an offensive pirating vessel. They began to prey on the shipping of nations unfriendly with the Conglomerate. He gained wealth quickly, and amassed a fleet of similar vessels, and began to become a massive threat to the shipping and even navies of other nations.
Then news came that his elder brother had been killed in a Honorduel, and he was summoned back home to take his place as heir. His first action once back home was to seek out the nobleman who had killed his brother and challenge him to a Honorduel. Vincenzo was victorious, leaving the man dead on the floor of the Duel Hall. He then took on his dead elder brother’s first name, Medicion, as his own, and ascended to the position of Highlord. When the man who he killed in an honorduel’s family attempted to rebel against his rule, he sailed on their keep and burned it to the ground, killing the lord and selling his family as slaves in Dnuoheroc.
He is the one responsible for the tactics currently used by the Acaen Navy, the corsair like way they fight. Seeing that it was so effective against other enemies it made sense to him that it would work for a navy, and so far no one has proved him wrong.
